Kingston, Ontario to New Brunswick, Quebec and Fear of Heights

As someone stated, check the weather before you go. If it is going to be rainy, chances are it will be foggy. We intended to go there three trips in a row. The third time was the charm. Our friends have been there several times, so they warned us about checking the weather before hand. It is...

Best approach to writing off RV for business

Previous advice from my accountant on many similar situations. Sometimes it just isn't worth it to try to claim something that may "red flag" you with the tax services. Even though we always ran our business 100 percent on the legal side, sometimes trying to add write offs that are questionable...

Tired Of Poor Cell & WiFi Service

Will the 5G systems coming on line improve boondocking abilities, or will that only benefit city dwellers?

Kingston, Ontario to New Brunswick, Quebec and Fear of Heights

If you go to Cape Breton, and follow the Trans Canada highway through to Sydney, you will cross this bridge. It is very nerve racking in a large rv if you meet oncoming large traffic. The lanes feel about six feet wide if you meet a large truck coming at you. The railings might stop you from...

    Backing up your utility trailer?

A set of walkie talkies help with communication with the spotter. Hand signals work as well, but sometimes being able to talk back and forth is helpful.

    Plugging into home power

The trailer should have a cord itself. Pull that cord out as opposed to using extra cords. You might reach with the trailer cord, or using one extra cord. The less cords the better. If you are just plugged into a normal 15 amp outlet on the house, you will have to be careful with the usage. It...

You never know if you are going to wake up

    Post a joke

A gentleman is playing his piano, when he hears a knock on the door. He opens the door, and the person replies, " Im here to tune your piano." The gentleman says, " I never called anyone to come and tune my piano." The person replies, " I know you didn't, your neighbor called me. " lol

    Post a joke

Never a truer word spoken. lol "Do these pants make my rear end look big." "I don't think you can blame the pants". Right about then the lights went out. lol

UPSIDE DOWN ON RV NEED HELP/ADVICE

Lets just hope the housing market doesn't drop 25 percent or something crazy. That will leave a lot of people paying mortgages for far more than the houses are worth. Adding that on top of already bad finances will cause a lot of people to walk away from their debts. Its going to be a rough ride...

Looking for advice ...where do sick motor homes go????

My friend bought an 03 National Tropical that had pretty severe rusts problems in the lower compartments. The rest of the rv was in great shape, but he got it for about 60 percent of its value due to the rust. All the basement compartments were only hanging on 1 inch box tube, and had rusted...

    OMG

I have several Taks as well. One is a 70s lawsuit Tak which is a copy of a Martin D 18. It was the first half decent guitar I ever owned, and have had it for almost 30 years. I will never sell it. It is always in tune.  I also have a 15 year old acoustic electric that I use for stage stuff.

    Changing our RV Tires

One factor might be how far you plan to travel. Would I travel somewhat locally with 7 year old tires. I would say yes. Would I leave home on a 8000 mile trip. Probably not.

    Rv fridge vs residential

You will note that all those that are in the residential fridge camp, either always are plugged into services, or they have a large battery bank. Add to the batteries, a solar array, charge controller, and inverter. I personally like to boondock, and the rv fridge works fine for me. If I was...
