    Norcold 1210 cooling unit replacement

It had an air bubble in the system. Tilted the fridge forward to a 45 degree angle for a few minutes to let the air bubble escape. Stood it back up and installed in the cabinet. Turned the unit back on and it’s cooling now. Woohoo!!

    Norcold 1210 cooling unit replacement

When I reach my hand up in there, the part marked in red was hot and the part marked in blue was cold and had condensation on it. Is this how it should be?

    Norcold 1210 cooling unit replacement

I have a 2021 Reflection and the fridge leaked ammonia. Norcold sent me a new cooling unit under warranty and it was installed yesterday. Everything seems to work, cooling fans come on, pipes get warm/hot, burner lights, etc. but the fridge and freezer are still room temp. I’ve tried it on both...

    Rockwood vs Grand Design

I'm looking for some input on a 2018 Rockwood Forrest River 8299BS vs a 2017 Grand Design Reflection 303RLS.  The two I'm looking at are both within a few dollars of each other and very similar in layout.  The one big plus (to me anyway) is the Reflection has one touch auto leveling, where the...

    5th wheel hitch advice needed

We absolutely love our pusher.  We bought it brand new 14 years ago and it has treated us great.  We are just at a point in our life where we are looking to simplify things and Think a 5th wheel will serve our needs better.  I hope I don?t regret the decision, but if I do, it will be a good...

    5th wheel hitch advice needed

Thanks for the reply?s.  My truck does have a 6.5? bed. We have just started looking at 5th wheels and have decided we like front bedroom with rear living.  Something in the 30? to 34? range.  We are fortunate that all 3 of our kids love to camp too and all have their own RV?s so no need to have...

    5th wheel hitch advice needed

Long time RVer here, but soon to be a 5th wheel owner.  The wife and I have decided to sell our beloved 2005 diesel pusher and go with a 5th wheel instead.  I currently have a 2015 Chevy 2500 HD 6.2 liter gas engine short bed.  I also have a low profile tool box in the back.  My question...

    TV Upgrade Complete

I have a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 38? diesel pusher.  Everything is on the same level except the very back where the engine compartment is. I do agree that this will be a big project, so I don?t plan on starting it until late fall / winter.  In the meantime, I?ll be replacing the back TV...

    TV Upgrade Complete

We decided to update our 13 year old coach.  First on the list was the front TV.  I?m very happy with the way it turned out. Next the wife wants to replace the tile and carpet floor with laminate wood flooring.  I?m thinking this is going to be a major project.  Remove drivers and passenger...

    Transmission dip stick missing???

I have a 2005 Holiday Rambler Endeavor with a Cummins 400 hp engine and an Allison 6 speed transmission.  I went out today to do my pre-trip ritual (check tire pressure, oil level, washer fluid, etc) and when I removed the red transmission cap there was no dip stick.  Now I'm not positive but...

    Transmission fluid

Turns out it wasn't 7 quarts low, it was an error code 7.0 stating it was too cool to test.  Once I brought it up to temperature it read OK.  Whew! I was worried there for a minute.  I'm still puzzled by the lack of a dip stick under the red cap.  I swear there used to be one there, but if there...
