Looking to purchase our 1st MH, considering Nexxus 32SC or maybe Phantom Diesel

Starting on September 1st .. Nexus will no longer be a factory direct manufacturer. They will begin selling directly to dealerships at that time. If factory direct pricing and customization options are important to you .. then you might want to act quickly on your decision if you haven?t...

Looking to purchase our 1st MH, considering Nexxus 32SC or maybe Phantom Diesel

" Not many manufacturers are using the MaxxForce anymore after a rash of problems several years ago. The current generation, the ?7?,  presumably has resolved the issues that plagued its previous generation.  The fact that a company like NeXus is currently employing the much maligned MaxxForce...

    Georgetown 327-ds

I think we finally found an RV that the wife and I both agree on. It's a 2011 Georgetown 327-DS with the Ford Triton V-10. Only 16,000 miles on it and appears in very good condition. An older couple own it and don't want to travel anymore. Does anyone know of any major issues with this coach...

About to give up on my dream of hitting the road

I know just what you are going through but I don't feel one month of actively looking is nearly enough time for you to make a decision. The wife and I have been actively looking for over six months now .. winter has slowed us down a bit .. and have pretty well covered  affordable motorhome...

    Any Difference

We checked both units today and the Forest River unit had a fiberglass roof while the Coachmen had a rubber type roof. I think I would prefer the fiberglass roof. The Forest River also has the polar package .. which may or may not be nice to have and also has thicker wood for the cabinets...

    Nexus Motorhomes - Experiences?

I have recently been in communication with Nexus about their products. Their prices seem competitive and I?ve only heard good things about them. They currently have a 6 to 8 week back-log as everyone is in a rush to get their new coaches completed by spring. At their web sight they have many...

    Any Difference

Thanks for the replies. We already checked the specs and floor plans online and would be happy with either one. I was just wondering if there was anything some current or past owners would be able to add from their experiences. Does anyone know if they have fiberglass or rubber roofs? Any...

    Any Difference

2012 Sunseeker 2860DS or 2012 Freelander 32BH Both of these coaches are very close in mileage and price. The wife and I like both of them. Are there any advantages in one over the other?

    Towing Ability

Stopped at our local RV dealer yesterday to check out their sale prices and to start getting ideas as to what we might like as next year we would like to start touring the country and be gone for weeks at a time. Two units caught our eye and we are somewhat thinking about. Winnebago Aspect 27K...

    Hello from East Central Wisconsin

Recently retired and the wife and I are looking at doing some traveling across the country starting next year. Hoping to find ideas as to what type of RV would work best for us but thinking of either a class A or class B motorhome. After just skimming through the RV Forum I have a good feeling I...
