    indoor Low temperature back home

Were the mice too chilly to enjoy themselves?  (Sorry, sometimes I cannot help myself)

Propane still not working, call propane service place or a camper service?

I know there is a difference in propane intended for warm areas and very cold areas.  Could Summer propane mix in a winter area cause this problem?

    Storing our coach in florida

It would and likely did sit uncovered in the sun in a dealers lot for longer than 30 days. Charging for 2 hours a day might be ideal, and 2 hours of AC would keep humidity down. Sounds to me like a better deal than my rigs have had with no problems over the years. No worries!

    Mirror problem ...

I liked it fine, just did not want to spend the bucks to replace it!

Where do I park a 38' Motorhome when visiting family in the suburbs?

Walmart yes, but do not count on the Churches. I have been turned down for an overnight when I asked, as has my nephew, who is an ordained minister and the head of a church of the same denomination! Neither the Inn or the parking lot, apparently. And not at a time when the parking lot was even...

    Cancelling thousand trails

Quite a few years ago a very nice lady at a park in Texas offered to sell me her membership. When I said no she offered to GIVE me her membership.  Still no. I have read that a technique to rid yourself of this is (and I do not have the reference) to form and fund a LLC corporation, sell the...

newbie - fridge access with slides in

If you can not take a quick bathroom break, grab something from the refrigerator or take a nap without opening slides, I want nothing to do with it.  Opening a slide in a rest area? Really?? Must be part of the world we have not explored.

    I guess I'm just ranting

We have traveled a lot, all states but Hawaii, all provinces except Newfoundland, and we are on the other side of the coin. We do not reserve early, sometimes we will call on the way to see if there is an opening. We did not camp IN Yellowstone, but camped NEAR. Always worked for us, and the...

    Replacing front Airbags?

I did not have vacuum pump, submersed in hot water to make easier to roll up.

    Security for remotely-stored RV?s, etc

Likely that S&W should be used for defense, not offense. Always the chance they will shoot back! A shotgun is more effective, and will not kill someone in the next 2 or 3 RVs over! Much better for defense, and if you run out and shoot someone stealing your Jeep, imagine the explaining you would...

Interesting idea on leveling: digging down instead of blocking up?

If you OWN the land, dig all the pits you want.  If it is public land or belongs to someone else, digging these holes is not only crazy but obnoxious. Effective way to get RVs banned from an area.

Newbie to RV world/One way rental motorhome

Not quite the same, but when we rented a large truck to move from New York to Florida, it was significantly less money to take it back, including fuel cost, than it was to one-way. RV may be, if you find one, similar.

    Draining the fresh water tank?

Somehow I visualize people blowing their horn, trying to warn of the leak! Or worse yet, being stopped by the police and having to explain. Someone could easily figure it was gray water. Too many adverse potentials.

I need a new Ford truck!

Once upon a time, in an earlier version of this planet, I bought a brand new bright red Porsche for $4200, which likely would not cover the price of the tires and rims on one today. Best grab that truck before the price goes up!
