    Pop-up tent trailer or A-frame

No pop up with soft sides if you plan on camping in the woods unless you plan on not having any food inside ever. Bears love the easy open ends. A's are nice but still need to be set up to use. We use ours for traveling also so went with a large teardrop so we could have access to it anytime...

$35/yr in New York.  Pay two years at a time.  No yearly personal or property tax on it.

is it safe to add a second house battery?

If you do decide to add a second battery it's wise to replace the existing one you have with a new one also so they both match and have the same charge/discharge rate.

Don't use poison outside where other animals or pets can get to it.

26 foot travel trailer with mice problem

Use snap traps.  Don't use poison.  You don't want them crawling off somewhere you can't get to and stinking up the place.  The old basic snap traps work the best. I even screwed mine under the cabinets down on a bigger piece of wood so the mouse couldn't drag the trap off. Yes, that happened once.

Bicycle Options - Full Size vs Folding

Got a new top end $500 folding bike at an auction for a bike shop that was closing a couple of years ago. Figured it would be good to have along.  Then right after that bought a bigger trailer to tow behind the motorhome with plenty of room for our mountain bikes.  The folding bike sits at home...

    Yanks Camping in Canada

Remember they don't like some food items that are open either. Dog food, fresh produce, etc. Sometimes they don't care and other times no way.  No guns either although you can get a permit for a rifle ahead of time. I think they are still $25.  Dogs must have current rabies certs also...

    Motorcycle Question

After 49 years of riding I've had them all.  First one was A Honda, then Yamaha, etc.  Wound up with Harleys and will never go back. Harley's are just so much more fun to ride. Unless I find this little customized Honda Scrambler I first had in the '60s. That I would buy back. Still, to each...

I'm Looking At This Class C

Slides are a personal choice.  Extra space when parked is the only advantage to a slide. Added weight, more chance of mechanical failure, and not airtight in cooler weather are all disadvantages.  If a slide fails when it's extended you aren't going anywhere until it's fixed. The floor plans...
