    Winnebago Trading cards ?

A couple of years ago there were many cases of them at the store at GNR for sale quite cheap. I don't remember the price but I am thinking a dime or quarter for a deck. Of course they didn't last long but I was able to get a set  ;D

Dish Network, portable antenna, and roof top antenna

Thanks Ned for teaching me the difference.

Dish Network, portable antenna, and roof top antenna

I have a dome (Winegard on this coach and KVH on last one) and also have a Dish LNB on my sat internet dish. The two cables come into an A/B switch, the cheap Radio Shack one, then one cable to receiver. I usually use the dome but there are times when one is blocked and the other isn't. I've had...

Fried Voyager Rear Camera monitor -- anyone replace it with updated one?

My last coach, an Adventurer, had a Sony color camera which worked well for me. When I bought this Journey it had the Voyager b&w camera. Being spoiled by the color one, I changed to the Voyager color camera and lcd monitor. I stayed with the Voyager so the connections would be compatible.  The...

Constant sound hookup did not work with the Winny surround system

emiddleb, I should have said the other end of the noise suppressor has the RCA ends. These attach to a cable coming from the av receiver which in my case is also the dvd player. So my set up must be the same as yours except that it already had the extender cable.

Constant sound hookup did not work with the Winny surround system

Jolt, I did a quite easy fix with my tv that did not have variable output. I connected it to the surround sound the same way the old tv was. There was a wire coming out of the back of the old tv that has a barrel type noise suppressor in line. In the tv the wires are soldered to the speakers...

Itasca Horizon Sound System - Has anyone upgraded?

My dvd player is the amplifier. My coach is only 2 yrs old but have not had any noises coming out of the speakers that aren't supposed to. When I changed out my tv to an lcd the speakers actually became true surround sound and not just 6 extra speakers. The only problem with that is sometimes I...

    Summary of 2009 Winnie GNR?

This was my 7th rally and I and my group agree it was one of the better ones we attended. The entertainment was good for all ages. Comedian Jimmy Travis had everyone laughing hysterically as he did before. He did have new material or we all forgot from five years ago. He is funny though if you...

    Winnebago 2010 Models

Art, I would like to share 2 recent experiences why I am very thankful I have a Winnebago and if I ever buy another it will be a Winnebago. It doesn't answer your questions but are things for anyone to consider when looking to buy another coach. I've owned RVs for over 30 years, the last two...

    Winnebago 2010 Models

Three zoned roof airs can cool better than the basement air during those very hot days on a large coach like the tag axle. They are supposed to be more efficient and quieter than the ducted roof air of old.

    Winnebago, what a screw up.

Check the panels over the front tires to see if they are hinged. When I had a front blow out on my 1998 Adventurer that damaged the panel I discovered those panels are hinged. If yours is like that you could lift the panel up out of the way like a basement door (no struts on it though).

    Adventurer Hybrid on the road

I should have added more info to the first post. Sorry :-[  Thanks for the link Carson. I agree 7% increase isn't much but is a good start for pushing a 35' box down the road. Throughout the years Winnie has been known to go for the tried and true so it is great for them to take the lead in this.

    Adventurer Hybrid on the road

I read this today from RVEnews.  A family will be traveling in the hybrid for the RVIA promoting RVing, going green, and his new book.  I thought the Adventurer looked impressive when they introduced it last December. Looking forward to seeing not just pictures of it. rvEnews RVIA article
