    Thanks very much- I did go to the Jayco Dealer. This is the kind that fits into the track. the dealer pretty much convinced me that it isnt an easy task installing and it beats up your hands- I think I will pay them to do it ! Thanks again for your help !

    I was wondering... my rubber gasket that goes around my Jayco slideout needs to be replaced. Does anyone know if any old RV place will have this part or if it has to be a special Jayco one ? I imagine they are all pretty similar but dont know for sure. I know its a big gasket-probably about 20...

    Thanks again guys ! I found a brand new 400 watt inverter in my garage-still in the package. Its amazing what you find when ya start cleaning and moving stuff around !     Bed Length for a 5th Wheel

    Something I found out the hard way is to check the clearance between the truck bed rails and underside of fifth wheel- if there isn't much clearance you can and will damage the truck and fifth wheel when you go off road !

    Hi I am new and have a 27 ft Jayco fifth wheel and was wondering if it is worthwhile to install an inverter-if so what size ? It doesn't do any good to get a giant one if you only have 2 batteries right ? I do have 1- 12 volt outlet near the tv-I guess thats for small 12 volt things. Is it wise...
