Thank you so much.  Love your bicycle rig.  We have some oldies we figured to let slide around in the truck bed. Taking 250s/2500s and diesel out of consideration simplifies our search immensely. And appreciated your pointing out that the larger cabs extend the wheel base.

Wow, thanks for speedy response. Two of us adults, no pets, just enough clothes, tea pot, guitars, yoga mat, bicycles - not much stuff. We prefer truck over SUV. Used. She says, light gray or white.

We bought a 20' Lance 1575, max weight 3700 lbs.  Now we need a tow vehicle to travel for a year from flat Florida over the western mountains to California.  And back.  Safely. Salespeople don't take us seriously because the trailer's so light.  "Anything will do it." Experienced advice, please...
