Thanks. I have been told there is really no adjustment that can be made to the refer doors. Just thougt someone may have a trick to get it to seal. Everything about the door, gasket and mating surface looks normal and square. Maybe just some hidden defect.
Just bought a new Forest River Rockwood 5er and really love the rig. I have discovered an issue with the freezer door on the refer. The freezer is collecting frost just inside the top of the freezer. I have also noticed that when you close the door it does not vacuum seal or suck in as the...
The front cap on my 2010 5er is fading. The color is grey. Most of the trailer is grey fiberglass gel coat. No fading issues anywhere else. I think the nose cap is a type of plastic.(I could be wrong). Wax did not keep it from fading.
Any recommendations to bring it back to life. Would...
Thanks for the info so far. Just a little more info. The old caulk is the factory stuff, not silicon.
It seems to be pretty tough. I haven't started the job yet but it seems just messing around with it that it's going to be hard to remove.
I also want to go back with something that will last...
My 5er is going on three years old and i have noticed some of the caulking around the windows, bay doors and such beginning to dry and crack.

What caulk should i go back with?

For the price you...
I am using Standyne purple label in my Duramax. Recommended by a large Pump and injector shop here in Texas. It cost me about $1 per tank fill. I figure it can't hurt. They also say ULSD does not have enough lube additives especially if you buy the discount diesel.
Yes, just make sure you have your empty refilled and installed before you use up the one you are running off. Once you reinstall your refill be sure and open the valve so the switch regulator will continue to do it's job.
No fun running out of propane in the middle of the night.
My 2010 Durmax manual says i can run low % of bio diesel. Most pumps i see are 5-20%. Manual clearly says no pure bio diesel due to the filter. Believe it says if you have to run it like stuck somewhere and that's all you can get, then flush fuel system and change the filter.
Been a while since...
