I already have an 8.5 foot camper. I am looking at getting a new truck and am wondering if I can get away with a short bed 6.5 foot. The camper is well below the 3/4 ton's weight capacity I am just wondering about the additional length?

There were no pets and I believe the leak was due to parking it on an incline with the water running off the slide toward the trailer. Has anyone changed carpet from under a slide before? My wife would actually like to have linoleum instead and the upkeep should be easier.
