    2017 Sightseer

Yup, radio antenna for the outside entertainment center. That is exactly where mine is mounted on my 2012 Sightseer.

    2008 Itasca Sunstar 32K

It's sunny and close to 90 degrees today. If I was loading my 34 foot Sightseer in these conditions I would expect one air conditioner to run steady just to keep up. Actually, I'd probably be running both a/c units just to be comfortable inside when I wanted to take a break. You may want to...

    Painting motorhome

Certainly agree with you Frank. My MH, when two years old, sat through an EF-1 tornado with wind speeds just over 100 mph. The tornado went within about 30 yards of the MH and flipped a long slide topper on the roof which created two holes and scuffed the driver's side with tree limb abrasions...

Ruff Rider - Divorce bound if things don't change.

It's often said that "driving" an RV is about 5 % of the experience and camping is the other 95%. Go camping for a week, meet some people, take a walk with your spouse and just relax. Then, reevaluate your feelings. You're going to like the camping side of it!

    2014 Providence Sewer Connection

Consider splicing a 5 inch adapter to the outside end of the 4 inch pipe if it would be large enough to contain the 3 inch hose coupler. Then, buy a new 3 inch hose with couplers, cut to length and shove the cut end up the pipe and band it to the discharge pipe. The 5 inch adapter should have a...

    Towing a Jeep

I've towed a 2005 Grand Cherokee for about nine years now. However, since I always tow I can't be much help on mpg lost when towing, but I agree, it's probably insignificant. My GC comes in at about 4,500 pounds. You should check the owner's manual under "Recreational Towing" to see if the 2004...

    Battery life

We would need more information to answer that and it would still be somewhat of a guess. Info such as the size, number and age of your batteries, type and number of light bulbs you would turn on and number of hours you would have them on. A way you could be sure whether the battery can handle...

Deep Cycle Discharge Rate at Rest

Wally, The charge wizard and remote control pendant are two different units but you only have one port on the 9100 charger. You need only the wizard as it will also allow you to select the mode of operation. The remote control pendant is for the 9200 series.

    Shower Questions

Let's see... The OP (original poster for the abbreviation challenged) wrote out "hot water heater" not just once, but twice before he used the abbreviation HWH. That and the fact that he used "shower" in the subject area should lead most to understand the question isn't about hydraulics. Also...

Deep Cycle Discharge Rate at Rest

The 92xx series has the charge wizard already installed inside. Nothing more to buy unless you also want the remote pendant to monitor which mode the charger is currently operating in and force the charger to a different mode. My 9260 is mounted in an enclosed. space behind the breaker box so...

Deep Cycle Discharge Rate at Rest

Mickey I was guessing that you didn't have an onboard converter/charger, but that you were using the Genius to charge the batteries while camping and during the off season. Here is what I believe is the bottom line. It's OK to only charge the battery back to about 90% each day while camping...

    Sharing Grey Tanks

X-2 on Kevin's comment about tanks being level. Perhaps a more positive test could be made if you were at a FHU campground. You could dump one grey tank and fill the other. Then opening both grey valves would give you a better indication if water is actually moving between tanks. Finally...

Deep Cycle Discharge Rate at Rest

Gary, you have me pondering how simply installing a set of batteries in a TT could reduce the battery capacity. I suspect the Genius is his only charger and the set of battery never received an initial charge after they left the factory. He speaks of two hour charges, probably daily, while on...

Deep Cycle Discharge Rate at Rest

I have a Progressive Dynamics PD-9260 (from Intili-Power Converters) three stage charger. Info should be at ProgressiveDyn.com . There are others that some RVers favor. This is a 9200 series with the last two numbers being the current rating so mine is a 60 amp which is used on four GC six volt...

    Should I Be Worried?

Maybe you should give him a small red sports car, a couple of bucks and then turn him loose. He'll come home when he gets hungry or goes broke. Males always do.
