    Fleetwood Flair - Quality MH?

I bought a 1999 Flair 30H a couple of years ago and have not had any major issues with it other than the expected maintenance type items such as old tires, fluids and roof coating.  It is more so an ongoing project for me than a money pit.  Still enjoying it!

Has any one had any experience with the ready brake system? What are the pros and cons. I am currently using a roadmaster brake buddy. Thanks

    Wi Fi Extenders?

The biggest problem in campgrounds is Tango Internet. We stay at a campground in Alabama that says no streaming music or movies. Their system will lock you out immediately when you try.

    Pull Over

In Indiana the chaces at pretty good if you; are following to close, driving over the posted speed limit, lack of turn signals, etc. While I was crossing Indiana the speed limit was posted 55 mph for tractor trailer, campers, cars pulling trailers. I was stopped doing 58 mphs. I was givin a...

To Spare or Not to Spare...

I drive a 36 ft class A motorhome and I always check tire pressures before I travel. The question is....should I be carrying a spare tire or not? And how of you have a spare?

    Weather conditions (a rant)

I have no respect for those people that drive over the set speed limit, and those that insist on talking on their cell phones while driving. They think that they are the only ones on the road. The other problem is lack of law enforcement. When was the last time you saw a law officer patrolling...

    Zep Wet Look Finish

Today I took the step and applied Zep Wet Look Finish on my 1995 bounder motorhome and now it looks amazing. First, I used Dawn dish washing soap to clean the fiber glass completely. I removed any and all road dirt, other blemishes and anything that might be greasy. Then I washed it again to...

    Used DPs at CW...Pricing?

Camping World is proud of their stuff. I've learned from others that you never buy a motorhome from Camping World. Your best bet is to buy from an individual who is selling, especially in the south. You can get a better deal all the way around. A lot of older retired people are selling their...

    Rear Wheel Seals....

Here's an update....(1) The rear axle vent was definitely plugged. (2) The differential was over filled. After cleaning out the vent, I opened up the fill plug and oil began running out until it was level with the fill hole. I drove 150 miles without a problem or smell of oil. Thanks for the...

    Rear Wheel Seals....

I'm not sure where to post this...I have 95 Bounder on a ford chassis with 60,000 mile on it. I had the rear seals on the duels replaced. 4 months later they were leaking again. They were replaced again at a different dealer. Now 3 months later they are leaking again. I am wondering what is...

    CAMPGROUND AND OLDER VEHICLES.

What I have learned in the past six years of fulltiming, many campground have a 10 year rule in place only because they don't want something that looks like it was dragged in from a deer camp. Agressive dogs and speed limits can be a problem too. Something happens and the campground get sued. We...

    Correct Cold Tire Pressure

There has been a lot in the past about tire pressures. Mine says to inflate the tire to 80 lbs cold. I inflated my at 80 lbs with the air temp at 70 degrees. Later I checked the tire pressure and it was 84 lbs with air temp at 95 degrees. The coach had not been moved. The question is; when they...
