For sale is my 2010 Honda Element Charcoal Gray with 121,000 miles give or take a few. Running Synthetic oil for past 7 years. Very nice shape, good gas mileage, clean and ready to tow.. I previously towed this with my Born Free MH no problems, I used ready brake and Blue Ox with Advanta tow...

    Oil changes

I also have the e450 V10. Manual says 6 quarts with filter. Just recently changed per specifications and it shows a 1/2 quart low. I left it this way as it doesn't use any oil and thought perhaps someone made a mistake or it's not the original dipstick. I noticed this before but forgot about it...

    Suggestion on Motorhome Security

Maybe some NRA stickers or "Protected by Smith & Wesson, but really common sense is the most important. Last night I was staying at a Casino without a security patrol, don't think I will do that again, but anyway I had my umbilical (electrical) cord stolen and a center cap from my toad's wheel...

I've been following this thread as I expect to have to do the same soon. "John" how many solar watts are you talking about that you don't disconnect? BTW like the electrical taped wrench idea, will do.

    Keeping the Fridge Cool

I was hoping someone would have replaced the roof vent with a solar powered vent to help draw the heat out, only cause I was thinking about doing this and wanted to know their results. Anyone?

Where do you keep your keys??

I have a lock that the realtors use when selling homes. Accessible from outside RV but only with the combination and also it's attached to something unremovable. Spares hidden inside RV as well and toad has a spare hidden also.

What do you think of this Born free RV ?

Safest MH on the road. BF's always command a bit more in price, Check the options out that adds to the cost, don't go by the basic appraisal. BF has a fiberglass body and few seams that need watching. Still I'd also say it's too high, but if it's what you're looking for otherwise make an offer...
