I wanted to update..
Mechanic came over, the hose dangling down is a overflow/vent hose for the fuel tank. I didn't know they had a vent separate from the filler vent. It was diesel and not an issue. Apparently the AZ heat caused the fuel to expand enough to come out..

Antifreeze makes sense.. it is about the size of a heater hose on most cars. Thankfully not cold out !
So it may have come off and basically drained the line and/or core. Should not be aiisue driving then with heater off.

The hose is right in front of the fuel tank, behind the front jack. It isn't the filler vent line. Is there a second fuel tank vent?
