I used a 1/8 Masonite sheet from home depot. It did not stick very well and curled when I glued it. Held up long enough to go on my camping trip.
I was not happy with the job so I stopped by my RV dealer to see if he carried the original ceiling plywood. He did. He wanted about $100 a sheet...
I just bought "Zinus Cool Gel Memory Foam 5 Inch Sleeper Sofa Mattress" from amazon. Very happy with the mattress, smells a little when you open it, takes about two days to air out. It had great reviews. Was very firm and comfortable. A coworker also has one and is very happy with it. Check the...
Hello,
I had a skylight leak in my Thor Citation TT a while back. I thought that the plywood was right under the rubber roof so I fiber glassed the ceiling plywood... Looks like crap and the paint is peeling from it...
Now I see that there is 2" of foam between ceiling and roof so that crappy...
Hello,
Wondering if anybody cleans out their water system by using compressed air instead of filling it with RV antifreeze?
I think it would work but maybe it would not clean out the 12 volt pump?
Maybe it would be bad to leave the system dry?

Hello,
I have a 27 foot Citation travel trailer, 2002. The bathroom skylight leaked and the water ran in the bathroom and into the bedroom a little bit. Some of the plywood pealed, maybe one layer where the water ran. About a 8 inches wide along one wall. The rest is good and strong after it...
Hello,
Thinking about taking a trip to Pine Creek Gorge. Any recommendations on a campsite for my TT? Do you think I could reserve one for Wednesday August 3rd Leaving Saturday morning? Or will everything be booked up now?
What's a good campsite website to book with?
Thanks,

Hello,
Just bought a new truck, it's about 1-2" higher at the hitch than my last truck.
I'm doing a trip with my flat bed dual axle trailer and I noticed that the trailer is higher toward the hitch. I'm using the load leveling hitch from my travel trailer. I believe the hitch is on its lowest...
So many options, can't decide what to do. After looking at the map I see that the property that I bought in upstate NY (The reason I bought the travel trailer) is only 2.5 hours away once I make it to Ithaca. I Live in Pottstown, PA and to visit my property I drive up PA Turnpike NE extension...

Hello,
Kind of unrelated but here goes. I have a 27' Travel Trailer that has an Atwood water heater. Works great.
Our family has an old hunting cabin in upstate NY that used to heat hat water from a wood stove. A big mess, rotted out the floor several times because shower was in with stove. I...
