Do RV'ers keep their "tent camping gear?"

This is about where we are, as far as keeping things lol. However, at 49, we are struggling with the "Hey, we might not be 25 anymore feeling!" :-) Thank you everyone!!!

Do RV'ers keep their "tent camping gear?"

You all are wonderful and if nothing else this tells me we are on the right track. Our kiddos are, well not kiddos anymore, the youngest just turned 25 in June and is engaged. No grandbabies as of yet, so it's just the DH and myself. I think a good upgrade on a few things will be helpful too...

Do RV'ers keep their "tent camping gear?"

Hello All!! My DH and I are about 4.5 years out from our 1st RV purchase, and after a fairly eventful tent camping trip this weekend, we have discovered a question we can't seem to find an answer to. DO RV'ers keep their camping gear???? I can't imagine they would...but we just can't figure...

Starting out - Class C for now POINTERS PLEASE

@FunSteak - Which class C Minnie Winnie do you have? I love the 22R but am concerned getting in and out of the bed would be well awkward for him. Also there's no room for feet to hang over the edge, which he may need. If you are willing to share I'd appreciate it. Thank you!!

Starting out - Class C for now POINTERS PLEASE

@OutdoorFT - My husband and I have been "downsizing" for several years already to prep for this lifestyle. We currently live in a tiny 1 bedroom that's less than 500 feet WITH our dog. So far so good but this is exactly the type of info a newbie won't get. Thank you! P.S. we aren't into yoga...

Everyone Thank YOU!!!! @Tom Hoffman - I hear you on the TT's but I have had both campers and trailers before and we are just not tt folks. Starting out - Class C for now POINTERS PLEASE

blw2, thanks for the reply! We are empty nesters (YAY!) and so it's just me, my tall hubby and our furbaby, who weighs 43 lbs. We can just do the weekend and vacation type trips now, I have many years yet before we can put this town in our rearview mirror, but we are so excited and anxious to...

Starting out - Class C for now POINTERS PLEASE

OutdoorFT, thank you for the reply! We are still quite a ways out from fulltiming, 16 years actually. I have a great government job that we just aren't willing to leave early because of the pension...so it's all about coasting to that finish line now. However,  we recently discovered that...

Starting out - Class C for now POINTERS PLEASE

My husband and I have decided to jump start our retirement dreams of full timing, and as soon as our car is paid off we are going to purchase a used Class C, or new if we can get a GREAT deal, and every darn chance we get we are going to hit the road until we can retire and full time in a Class...

Why can't folks leash their dog's?

I am so sorry your furbaby got hurt and all of you so traumatized!!!  :'( :-\ :( We have a 50lb Boxer, Ridgeback, Austrailian Shepard, French bull Dog mix. She is very well behaved, knows over 123 commands, as well as names for her toys, and has Addison's Disease.  Which means she's on a leash...

I-70 from I-15 in Utah to Denver Question

We like to use Highway 6 after we hit the east end of Idaho Springs. Its a canyon road, but much less traffic than I-70 and it doesn't have that grade coming in on the last stretch. Once you are through the canyon you see Golden in the front and can skirt around it to catch I-70 again skipping...
