No hot water from hot water tank

Was that after you made a couple of trips to the blood bank? Thanks to everyone for the tips/suggestions.  Will post again as to how it turns out. Merry Christmas to all. Mike

No hot water from hot water tank

Thanks for the tip.  Although I don't know how I am going to be able to get to the back of the water tank. The opening where the water pump is located (to the left of the tank) is just too small and there's no way to come up from underneath without major surgery as far as I can tell.

No hot water from hot water tank

Ours is in an outside basement access panel forward of the entry way just behind the wheel well.  This opening is shared by the water pump which is mounted to a shared bullhead - between the pump and the water heater. But that doesn't look like it is removable.  Will have to do some more...

No hot water from hot water tank

Are you referring to the one used when winterizing?  If so, yes I checked that and it is in the normal position.

No hot water from hot water tank

I checked to see if I can get at the back side of the water heater but it appears to be totally enclosed (top/rear/sides/bottom) with no easy access. The panels appear to be riveted together so I am guessing this isn't how you access the unit. Do you have to pull it out from the front then? I...

No hot water from hot water tank

Greetings, Our 2003 Brave has developed a problem that hopefully someone here as already dealt with.  We aren't getting any hot water from the water heater at the bathroom, shower, and kitchen faucets.  Actually there is no water flow at all.  The cold side flows normally but when we select...

PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Catch Can

I don't agree.  I think it was an expedient measure done by the engineers to comply with EPA standards/requirements.  The only thing oil does when its introduced into the combustion chamber is cause a reduction in octane and create carbon buildup on piston tops, valve faces, etc. We see this...

    W-20/W-22 Workhorse Chassis Brake Problems?

Ok thanks.  Just getting a bit frustrated with the delays - as I am sure the thousands of other affected Workhorse owners are....

PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Catch Can

I recently discovered on another (non RV related forum) a (new to me) system called a 'Catch Can' that is installed by some Mopar car owners on their engines.  This aftermarket (non factory) system utilizes a soda can sized container with fittings that is installed in the PCV circuit - which...

2001 VW GLS - can it be flat towed?

We are looking at a 2001 VW Bug GLS with manual trans to tow behind our Winnebago Brave.  Is this doable or are there major modifications that have to be made? Thanks for reading. Mike
