Must Visit Sites in the Lower 48

Two weeks will be too short. Last summer we left from MN for out west and we were gone 24 days traveling 6,000 miles. Yes, there are so many places to visit but we enjoyed traveling along the Oregon coast. By the way, we?re headed northeast next summer including the Adirondack and White Mtns...

    Hello From Wisconsin

My wife and I were both from WI - she?s from Wausau, me from New Glarus. Now live in Mpls. but still ?cheese heads??. We are retired and travel in a 32? motorhome during  the summer and next year plan on staying at the  Dells of the Eau Claire just west of Wausau.  For you I would recommend a...

Lacrosse,Wisc. and south on highway 14

Went to college in La Crosse and enjoyed the river and bluffs. Hey 14 to Madison is a pretty drive with hills but not a problem. The river road along the Mississippi River both north and south of La Crosse is a great scenic drive. It?s two lanes but ok for RVs. Hard to gauge the time but I would...

That was our catch-up time if we got delayed etc. plus we planned on not driving on Sunday and...

Is anyone else having issues with AAA RV membership?

I had a flat tire at my home this past summer and AAA found someone to come and change it.  However, it took awhile to locate a place that would service RVs. But, of course, I live in a suburb of Minneapolis; not out in the sticks somewhere.

    Battery storage

Wow!  That?s more info than I can absorb. Not sure I know what the bottom line is.

    Battery storage

I was told that keeping the batteries installed in the rig and keeping the rig plugged into your house electricity all winter could cause the batteries to be overcharged and damage them. Does that sound right?  At any rate I moved mine into our heated garage (in MN).

    Statue of Liberty

Thanks for the suggestion of Croton Point Park. We?re looking on visiting the NE U.S. next June. We were out west this past summer for 24 days so want to go east next summer. (We live in MN).

    Statue of Liberty

I?ve been told that the Liberty State Park in New York has parking available for a motorhome. Then from there you can take the ferry to see the Statue pf Liberty. Is this true?  Has anyone done this?
