    Slide roller replacement

I have a 2009 Komfort Trailblazer 285s travel trailer. The slide is large - appx 15 ft and has the couch, dining table and fridge that ride on it. The slide sits flush to the floor & lately I have to push from the outside to help the rollers lift it over the lip. After that the slide...

    12V Battery

It depends on what you are trying to operate.  Most items run on both 110 & 12V, however not all items.  For example, in my TT the slide is exclusively 12V.

Bike rack for front of TV - recommendations

I have a receiver on the front of my tow vehicle & want to purchase a bike rack to mount.  I want to make sure the bikes ride low enough so as not to obstruct my view.  I am thinking of purchasing a tray style so the wheels sit in a tray & therefore ride a bit lower. Can anyone give me a...

What product to use to wax TT & decals?

Yes - I did use the 303.  Time will tell how good it is, but so far I really do like it.  I applied it before I took an 1800 mile trip with the trailer & post-trip it still looks great.  Additionally, I used it on my truck (dash, tires, plastic part of bumpers, etc) - this was over a month ago...

What product to use to wax TT & decals?

I posted this question on 3 forums - the other 2 were pretty active but, as you can see, no input from this forum. Regarding the other forums - 9 out of 10 responses recommended 303 Aerospace Protectant.  The nice thing about this is it can be used on both fiberglass & vinyl, so you can treat...

What product to use to wax TT & decals?

I recently purchased my first fiberglass TT.  I am going to wash & wax it this weekend.  The guy at the RV store said to not use wax on the decals, rather use another product specifically for decal care.  Is this necessary ? what experience do you long time fiberglass owners have to share and...

    Slide clutch adjustment

Does anyone have any expertise on slide motors?  I need to know if the sensitivity of the clutch on the slides electric motor can be adjusted?  The slide system is a Lippert Components system but the manual does not address whether or not the clutch has an adjustment.  I have a 15? slide and...

    for those with pick-ups

I have an Undercover tonneau on my 2004 Silverado.  I have really liked it and like the fact that it is lockable.  Also, it is lightweight and easy to take off if you need to, yet strong enough hold several hundred pounds on top.  I have had it for 4 years and it has been trouble free.

    12 Volt Problem

I stand corrected ... the fuse is resettable, not auto-reset.  Has a button to push on the side to reset.

    12 Volt Problem

PROBLEM SOLVED:  Thanks to SteveAE on another rv forum site. Steve has the same type of trailer that I have & pointed out they have a fuse hidden up inside the underbelly of the trailer.  I did find it & it was an auto-reset fuse that had tripped. Crazy place to put a fuse, but problem solved.

    12 Volt Problem

Yes I have the store  switch & tested it, bypassed it with same result.  I will next test all grounds, plus trace the positive cable back to see if I missed a fuse.

    12 Volt Problem

Batteries are new & good.  I have had them tested.

    12 Volt Problem

Any tech's out there that might provide some insight to this? I have a 2009 Komfort Trailblazer 285TSG. When plugged into shore power I have full power (lights, furnace, everything). When plugged into the tow vehicle (no shore power) I also have full power. However, as soon as I disconnect from...

Hitch rating for 2004 Silverado 2500HD

Thanks Gary.  Yes, I did purchase the Equal-i-zer brand hitch in the 14000/1400 model.  This is a weight distribution hitch with built in sway control that is designed for a trailer up to 14000 lbs & 1400lb tongue weight.  My new TT has a GVWR of 10,000 lbs and a tongue weight of 1230lbs.  As...

Hitch rating for 2004 Silverado 2500HD

I just bought a new TT that is quite tongue heavy (rated at 1230lbs) as it is a front kitchen model.  I purchased a hitch beefy enough (1400 lbs) to handle the rating but am wondering what the rating on my receiver is...I have a 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500HD with Duramax.  I have checked the GVWR...
