IMO, it is rare for an electric motor to be in such bad shape that a good motor rebuild shop or alternator repair shop can not rebuild it. You might check the yellow pages for such a shop. R

Gary, Glycerin (glycerine or glycerol) is soluble in water in all proportions. It will not stop evaporation of water in which it is dissolved. Mineral oil will work just fine. R

Bob, Where did you find the 3M Model A for $40-$50? That's not a bad price, depending on the shipping. I paid $75.00, including shipping for a Model A equivalent. R

Tom, I see that you have a 2004 Pace Arrow 37C. I assume that means it is 37 feet long. Did you have any trouble getting into Organ Pipe? The last time we were there, they limited RVs to 35 feet or less. There were lines painted on the entrance pavement exactly 35 feet apart and if you didn't...
