Thanks! Wow things have changed on here! I took a long time just to figure out how to find my post.
looks like I’m not going to get many suggestions. So I better go searching...
It’s been a long time since I’ve been on here....
I am looking to majorly downsize to a very small Class C or B+. I’m looking for opinions on what’s the best, what should I steer away from? Diesel? Gas?
I’m just starting my quest for the unicorn, so I’d appreciate all opinions and experiences.
TIA
Hi GARY!
We still aren?t sure about the downsize. The RV market is on fire right now and so finding that unicorn I want is difficult! But I need to be able to drive! I can learn to drive the Beaver but I would always have major anxiety doing that. ? We too want to go places we can?t get this...
Thanks everyone...
So I guess the answer to my actual question is:
No it is not true. It does not hurt the seal to let it dry out with no water in the bowl for extended periods of time.
Greetings RVers!
In our process of looking for a smaller RV, I noticed that the toilets are always dry. I thought that it was important to not let the seal get dry or it would be ruined. Is this true? And are all RV Toilets supposed to hold a little water in the bowl?
Thank you,
Robin and Bill
We are currently volunteer Camp Hosting at one of our favorite Oregon State Parks :D
The Willamette Valley had a very long wet winter! We both have been putting in 12 hrs a day 3 to 4 days a week with spring clean up. The only "requirement" of duties is to be available for wood and ice sales...
I don't know about using it on the roof... But isn't the stuff amazing! And it takes such a tiny amount. I use it on the windows also. Bugs come off the windshield easier when it's been polished with ProtectAll. It doesn't leave that white gunk in the cracks, it actually removes it.
Thanks everyone!
We have a lot more information to get started with.
We definitely won't do anything without finding out if we are within code first.
By saying that we didn't want to spend a ton of money, we were thinking we'd like to stay under 10,000. Of course less would be better. ?

Thanks for all the replies...
We really want a 20 30 50 amp post like an RV park and the water right there also. We know we aren't going to do it ourselves.
There is a well and pump house that obviously would be a close location for water. There is also an electrical outlet in there. Can the...
Greetings Forum!
We are considering having a 50 amp post and RV pad put in on our property...
Does anyone have experience in having this done on their own property?
We have 2 acres with an older mobile home on it.
I love the coach we have! But oh my the upgrades and custom paint! And I'm with the person that said Why have just one? I'd love something small for those places we keep seeing that we can't fit in. And then I'd want to buy an RV for the kids (a nice little airstream, casita, Oliver) And then...
Just a quick follow up... Our issue was the belt to the water pump slipping and needing replaced and thermostat was bad. We did also flush and fill with ELC. The tech said our radiator looked great inside and out, but they also steam cleaned it outside.
The place we are at is WW Williams in...
Thanks again everyone! Every time we have an issue, we learn so much on here. Yesterday we sprayed Simple Green on the backside of the radiator, which I guess is actually the CAC (Charge Air Cooler). We opened up the bed for access and light... That was also a better angle to mostly work from...
