My Allegro Bus doesn't seem to have an emergency start system that temporarily ties the coach batteries to the start system if the chassis start batteries are down. My previous MH had a momentary switch on the dash that was very handy. For some reason my start system batteries have lost charge...

Found some fittings that look like air line quick disconnects and they are attached to a slim square box about 18"x4"x2". I guess that's the manifold, although it's not what I expected it to look like. I'm gonna plug an air nozzle into it to see what I get.

Yes, it's on a Freightliner chassis. Is the firewall in front of the engine?

Can the air system aboard my Allegro Bus be tapped for airing up tires on the road? I don't see a safety issue if it were plumbed properly. I just finished a 5,860 mile trip out west and it would have helped if I had it to adjust pressure on an inside dual that somehow dropped below the others...

I have a 1999 Tiffen Allegro Bus with a 330 HP Cat engine. I know that the ECU must have the capability to figure your fuel milage, but I can't find the terminal to plug into. Can a scan gage be used with a diesel unit?

Tom, It's a 1999 Allegro Bus.

The gasser I had before this diesel had a shunt switch on the dash for emergency starts. The diesel doesn't have it on the dash. Could it have one somewhere else?

Thanks everybody for the replys. You're right Marsha, it's a 330 Cat engine. I crawled under today and was pleased with the room under there and it seems that everything is just bigger. I stopped at the Dollar Store this afternoon and bought a 16 gallon tub ($8) that will fit under there nicely...
