The exact thing happened in Raleigh in 2005 with a lot less snow.  Everyone left work, school, and etc. at the same time.  All the vehicle traffic packed the small amount of snow into an ice rink on the roads.  Kids were stranded in school buses for hours, 1/2 hour commutes became 8 hours...

Did you get any feedback from Freightliner?  I have owned 3 DP's and have experienced the push while driving all of them.  It is something that I have gotten used to.    Best solution is to go faster than trucks!  Just kidding.

Sounds like you found your problem.  Most folks recommend charging all batteries at same time.

I can find only 1 fuel filter on my 330 Cat.  It is at the rear of the coach and serves as a water separator as well.  Is there one somewhere else?  I located the oil filter and that is all.  Thanks

NADA low retail (no options) is $51,500.  $50K would be a great price IMHO.  As Steve said, take your checklist and be sure to checkout all major components, a/c, refrigerator, genset, etc.

I don't know about other states, but North Carolina does not require diesel powered vehicles to have an emisson inspection, safety only.

Can the Winegard antenna on my 2003 Discovery pick up OTA digital channels if I have a digital TV or converter. or do I need to change the head.  I did a search and found many discussions on this issue, but I could not find a specific answer to this question. Thanks much.

Thanks Al, the trade-in is where they had me by the gonads as well.  To be able to sell the unit I would have had to put a lot of $$$$ in it and I would still have a 1999 coach.  As in most vehicle deals, if the dealer is allowing you retail for yours, he isn't going to sell his at wholesale.   

Toppers are on the rig.  As Gary stated, their main purpose is to keep debris off the top of the slide.  I have been with CoachNet since my first RV purchase 6 years ago.  I sing their praises with you.
