how well do the single unit washer/dryers work?

Love mine.  And if you want to stop the machine before the dry cycle is complete you just turn it to 'OFF'.  Maybe the older models didn't do that, but mine is 7 years old and I can turn it off and get the clothes out and hang up to avoid some wrinkles.

    A Very Strange Scam

I had exactly the same email.  These guys just don't quit.  Unfortunately, some people really do believe them and pay up.  These type of emails are really getting to be a PITA!!!!!!!!

    Backsplash

Originally I put up those peel and stick tiles, the ones that are made of a vinyl.  Didn't stay up in any kind of heat.  Took it all down and put up the ones that are made of metal.  They haven't moved in 3 years.  The adhesive on the back is much, much stronger than what is on the back of the...

    what is this tool?

Hammster is correct.  I still have mine.  It comes when you buy those little screens to cover your furnace/hot water tank exhaust.  It's need to attach the little spring to the screen.

I use LastPass.  Have done for years.  I think it's a great program.

    Trip Planning Software/Site

I used to be a member of CAA and used their TripTik to plan our trips.  As I am no longer a member I need some really good software or site where I create our trip.  I need it to list campgrounds, rest stops etc.  Does any one use/know of such good software?  I don't mind buying it as long as it...

Preparing Sticks & Bricks for extended absence.

I also live in the country and have a well and septic system.  I have several 'things' that are needed for the well.  There is an UV light, water softener system, regular filter system and an ozonator.  Because I turn off the water value from the well, and these 'thing's all require water to...

    Blow Out..2X..WHY?

It does show temps, and they were ok.  We were doing about 55 MPH.  It was a warm day, but not crazy hot about 75 -80 degrees.  I really feel we ran over something because we had just gone through a construction zone a couple miles back.

    Blow Out..2X..WHY?

Actually the tires were pretty good tires, or so I thought, GoodYear.  Not sure of the date on the tires, rig is a 2013.  Rig wasn't heavy, hardly anything in it at all as we were only going for a short week trip and was basically empty.  But thanks for the info, it helps somewhat.

    Blow Out..2X..WHY?

Yes thanks I do realize.  Just wondered if we had run over something would it blow like that, as mentioned I thought it would be like a slow leak, loosing pressure slowly then our TPMS would have picked that up.

    Blow Out..2X..WHY?

Perhaps someone could at least give us an explanation or 2 as to why we got 2 blow outs.  We were on our way for a week camping.  Fifth wheel is 4 years old, 2 sets or tires per side in tandem, tires are GoodYear, probably got about 10,000 miles on them, pressure was spot on, TPMS monitor on. ...

Could someone please tell me what this is a pic of?

Yup BinaryBob is correct.  We had one in our class A, but of course the handsets were still in it.

    You have been warned

When we visited France a few years ago, they told us that all dogs have their DNA done as pups.  If dog poop is found not picked up they check the DNA on it, find the owner and charge them.  Great idea!!!!!

    Toronto to Myrtle Beach

I agree about taking I75 down, yes it is further but I95 goes through the mountains and in winter, I don't advise it.  Just take your time, watch the weather.  I don't know if you're planning on finding RV parks for the night or staying at Walmarts, but sometimes finding an open RV park in the...
