My Freedom 1500 finally bit the dust.  Replacing it with another Inverter/Charger.  This one uses an 8-wire cat5 cable for the remote.  The existing Xantrex wire is an RJ12 (6-pin telephone plug) on a 6-wire cable.  Unfortunately, the new I/C  uses 7 of the 8 cat5 wires.  So I clearly will lose...

Thanks, Ernie.  On mine, the current wires have very short stubs of wires coming out of the cable.  Probably a couple inches.  There is no long tail inside the ATS.  The only unit that I've found that has 3 cables on one side, and connections close to the entrance is the Lyght Elkhart LPT50BRD...

The only flat towable plug in hybrid that I've found is the Ford CMax Energi.  Anyone know of another?

Thinking of a Ford C-Max Energi for a toad.  Manual says can be flat towed to 70mph and no fuses to pull.  I am looking at the plugin hybrid model.  Any thoughts?  We looked at the 2014 CRV and it also looks good, but the Ford is plugin hybrid, and newer for the same money.

I don't think it provides trickle charge to toad.  It fires off the light  when the toad brake is applied.  And alarm when it is applied for more than so many seconds ( I think 15 seconds).  The toad battery is charged from the rear brake wire, I believe.  Check the manual.  Don't let it drag on...

I want to attach something to my Winnebago Journey DL 2003 wall.  (specifically a TV lift mount).  Anyone have any idea how the wall is built and how to find any studs or structural supports in the walls?  Are they wood?  Would a stud finder be any help?

quadrider:  Kewl.  How is the camera attached to the DVR?  Is it rca/bnc type connectors and video connection?  Other options appear to be wireless IP camera, etc.  If wired, how bad was it to run the wires?

A camera on back of the trailer will help you avoid hitting anything as you back into a spot.  Somehow, rocks, trash cans, trees, etc, all seem to jump in the way when I back a trailer.
