70s Shower Needs New Liner or "Tiles"

We've been full timing for the past month. The 4 of us use the shower daily. So far the shower has held up well. I'd say it would glue easily over some luan or plywood.

    Updating the shower

I found the fixture on eBay. Here is a link to the shower door.  http://www.tomraperrvparts.com/Shower-Doors-Curtains-1f0d18e4bb.dept

Buying a used motorhome on a low budget

I bought a 95  Class A back in December on Craigslist for $4000. I invested another $6000 fixing it up. It has been a great RV and just finished a 3600 mile trip out west. I say it is possible but you have to be very smart in your purchase decision. Tires alone can cost you $2000 or more and...

    Class A RV Living

You can dump and fill up at a Flying J for $5. We have been living in Wal-Mart parking lots for the last 10 days and it has been great. With 4 of us we make it around 3-4 days before needing to dump and fill.

Coast to Coast trip in our Class A starts Thursday

We decided to not risk staying in the RV and booked 2 nights at the Stratosphere for $32 per night. We've stayed there before and it was nice for the price.

Coast to Coast trip in our Class A starts Thursday

Tom,   I've crossed off # 1,2,5,&7 on your Grand Canyon list. Tonight for dinner I will happily polish off #4. Thanks so much for making that list. We have packed in a lot of fun instead of aimlessly wandering around. We also watched the sunrise this morning near the visitors center before our...

    Running Hot in Texas

We are currently driving through the pan handle and outside temps yesterday got up to 116. I highly recommend installing a analog temp gauge. Don't trust the dummy gauge.

Thanks for all of the advice. We are eating at The Big Texan right now and then headed to Palo Duro. Any good campground suggestions there?

    Amish Cooling Unit Capabilities

I recently installed a whirlpool residential fridge in my coach.  It draws around 150 watts while running and 300 when in defrost mode. Keep in mind that part of the time it draws no current at all when the compressor is not running. I have 460ah of batteries. The fridge has ran as long as 48...

    Replacements for 1993 PaceArrow

Here is where I bought my furniture. They had it in stock and to my door in 2 days. Prices and shipping were both fantastic. http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/categories.php?category_id=136

    Cant start coach, low voltage

I had a similar situation happen to me. In my case the Onan Generator had internally shorted to ground causing around a 10 amp constant draw on the batteries. If you have multiple positive leads connected to the battery try disconnecting them all and hooking them up one at a time. It will be...

Reminants of re-caps are what you see all over the highway from semi blowouts. I would also stay away.

Coast to Coast trip in our Class A starts Thursday

This makes sense. My helicopter ride only stopped at the bottom and it was sweltering hot.
