    Pre-2013 Diesel PUs

Is buying a well kept low mileage p/u that doesn't require the regulated fuel additive a worthwhile consideration, or are newer diesel p/us that much better for towing?  I see very nice well kept 2012 duallys for sale, and they all seem to loudly point out that no fuel additive needed.  Opinions...

MPG - DUALLY W BIG NORTHERN LITE 10-2EX

Which new 4wd p/u would get you best mpg? gas, diesel, ford, chevy, ram?  There're so many new specs, trannys, engines this year.  Does mpg differ that much any longer?  Are the new gas configurations matching the diesels in duallys?  Or, all things considered, are dually diesels still simply...

    mpg??

2001 Winnebago Realta - 22 mpg while going up and over the Rockies.  Try topping that.  Not even my stick shift VW camper from 1971 did any better than that.

Best form of payment when selling an RV ?

I only deal in cash, whether in or out.  The less the gov't can find about me and my life the better.  I don't trust the 'big brother' concept of any entity in an authoritative position.  The more we give our privacy away, the more susceptible we are to be taken advantage of in some way or...

    Freightliner Dynamax

Dynamax has the best customer support I have come across this year in researching motorhomes.  Their paint job alone will tell you the quality and precision they put into their coaches.

Could Sprinter RV owners share with me their routine maintenance costs

For those that travel extensively, how does the routine service and upkeep of the Mercedes platform compare to the Ford V10 in say a 25-30' MH?  I have heard figures approaching $2000 annually, but not so sure that was referring to Mercedes Sprinters or more the big Cummins and such. Thx

    Best for sale sites

If you are in AZ, simply drive down Main St in Mesa all the way through Apache Junction.  There will be several for sale by owner RVs parked on every vacant lot and front streets of large shopping centers with for sale signs on them.  Only during winter and early spring months though.

Here is a silly question about flexible shower doors

I have noticed again this weekend as I perused motorhomes at a San Diego show (basicly just a couple of local dealers bringing their coaches to the stadium), that many of the MHs are using those flimsy plastic sliding shower doors which are supposed to stay shut via a magnet system I believe.  I...

Are those of you Class B/C's who bought the Mercedes diesel set up over the Ford

Thanks Phil, that was just the sort of thing I was wanting to find out.  I was under assumption that the Mercedes would have had a diesel generator.  I was curious to which of the generators were best, less noise, etc., and if any of them are truly quiet?

No, I am just an visitor from a far off galaxy wanting to learn what I can about you earthlings.  Nanu Nanu, Shazbot.

Are those of you Class B/C's who bought the Mercedes diesel set up over the Ford

... happy you did or do you question your choice? Or are there things you wish you had done different? Was the extra money for the Mercedes Diesel worth it, now that you have owned it? Do any of you feel like you would go with the Ford if you had to do it over? Your likes and dislikes would be...

    I shouldn't have looked...

I will just add my thought.  If you don't really need it for 2 years and won't be using it really, maybe you should figure in the fact that it will depreciate some over those 2 years.  Another words, in 2 years you could buy the "same coach" for less money when you are actually ready to use it. ...

Anyone owned or have a take on the Alfa See Ya Motorhomes

They seem rare, yet pretty upscale as far as decor goes.  Any opinions?

    W/D in Class A motorhomes

How much is a washer/dryer appreciated/used in your motorhome?  Do you like having one?  Would you like to have one, if you don't?  Or do you find them to be totally unnecessary and a waste of money and space?
