    Clearance light problems

Paul, When I replaced my Fleetwood clearance lights all of the grounds were daisy chained together.  If you lose one of the connections you lose the ground for all of them.  I would start with the last one you did and verify ground is present by measuring resistance from the engine batteries...

    The Wasp Spray Myth

Actually Alaska, New Mexico, and Nevada have the highest violent crime rates in the entire United States. Everything you said is not true.

    Anyone help identify these?

The relay delay isolator assures the chassis battery receives some charging before the alternator tackles charging the auxiliary battery.  It assures a drawn down auxiliary battery does not rob all the current from the alternator thus preventing the chassis battery from recovering from the power...

    Part ordering

I would say, for the most part, just identifying the vehicle as a Ford E450 will get you the proper part. A more specific definition would be a Ford E450 on a cutaway chassis.  Some parts, such as shocks, will have a separate part listing for the cutaway chassis.  If you can, take the old part...

Hello - recent owner of a 1985 Winnebago Elandan

Gary is right.  When I replaced my power steering pump on my Ford gas powered engine it required a pump that was made for a diesel engine.  That's why the pictures are a nice thing to have when shopping for parts.  ;)

Hello - recent owner of a 1985 Winnebago Elandan

If you are speaking about engine related components, Rockauto.com http://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/ usually has most of the parts I need for my older Ford and pictures to compare as well.

    94 E350/460 Travelaire C class

I have had my 460 about 5 years now.  It has not been any issue except for the power steering pump needing replacement.  I did blow the transmission main seal because I overheated it trying to get out of deep sand but that was on me.  I added an external oil cooler to replace the stock oil...

    1992 Onan 4000 dies

Sounds like the classic fuel line from the tank to the generator fuel pump degradation.  It gets stiff, experiences small cracks, sucks air and starves the carb.  Might try a temporary line from a gas can to the fuel pump to verify.

    A question about drop hitches

I tow a VW Bug behind my Class C, without a drop hitch, and it will occasionally drag when entering and exiting a steep driveway.  With a drop hitch I would expect it to occur more often.  I usually just take it slow and easy and try and enter/exit at an angle to lessen the degree of slope I am...

    Magnetek 6300A Model 6345

When you have the time and dollars perform this upgrade.  One of the best upgrades I have done for my M/H and one of the best companies out there supporting RV folks. http://www.bestconverter.com/PD4635V-35-Amp-Converter-Upgrade-Optional-Remote-Pendant_p_350.html#.WZybremQzZt

    93 Winnebago Elante

I would assume it is a P33 Workhorse chassis.  Start searching there for the proper belt.  If it doesn't fit try one longer or shorter as needed.

    Onan 4kw problems

Another thing to check is the condition of the fuel line from the tank to the pump.  Yours is probably 18 years old and they get hard and develop miniscule, practically invisible, cracks.  When this occurs the generator will run for a time and then die as air is sucked into the line.  The...

No Fan/Blower please help... we leaveThursday

Dave, If you were working on your radio, and your fan quit working, I would take a long hard look at what you did with the radio. Probably not a coincidence.

    Onan 4kw problems

I know you checked the float operation but that sounds like a classic case of a float sticking open.  I had a VW van one time that  did something similar.  Turned out the float had a pinhole in it and was filling with gas so it did not float.  Maybe it is hanging up when you put the bowl back on...
