You guys and gals were right. I checked the battery and it read 12.6vdc. I then checked it with a load on it, and it read 2.6vdc. I double checked it with a battery checker that I got from HF and got the same results. I put in a new battery from costco and the engine started. Thanks again.

Thanks for your suggestions. I will let you know what happens when I put a load on the battery while the motor is not running. I also forgot to mention there is a click like a relay sound when I turn the key.

I have a 30' FR3 and I was wondering about getting an air curtain. Besides keeping the bugs out it is also supposed to keep the cool air in when you open the door, and in the winter prevent the cold air from coming in. My wife is a mosquito magnate, and I thought this might help.

Thanks for the information on watts.  How many watts are used in a 12vdc, 18cuft Norcold refrigerator?  I would like to try using a 15 ohm resistor, but I don't know how many watts?

If I decide to use a 15 ohm resistor, how many watts does it need to be.  I've noticed the resistors have a watt rating.  I would assume the more watts the more heat.

Re the last post, where did you put the resistor and how did you connect it to 12vdc?  Do you have any pictures?  I would appreciate what ever you have.  This problem is driving my wife crazy, and in turn driving me crazy.  Dometic isn't of any help.  Like a lot of things when you buy an RV...

we use dawn and borax in our tanks.  I find the best time to read them is in the morning, or later in the day when I haven't been in the RV.  My propane, batteries and fresh water sensors are fairly accurate most of the time.
