It may or may not. Be careful, on my 2020 F150, the 12vdc power line does not activate until truck is started and a couple other things. Might even need to be in gear, but definitely not just a hot plug.

Correct, you will not be welcomed, or allowed to put a travel trailer in an area or spot designated for tents.

For me, painted or clear coated plastic on 9 year old trailer, I'd probably wire brush old off, spray new on. Depends how important or how bad it looks. I also find a protectant called 303 seems to really help preserve plastics and decals.

I certainly am glad I spent $5 for two sets of glasses to watch. We had beautiful weather and total eclipse was awesome. Not sure I would have spent much more, but glad I got to see it.
