There was a TSB on the grounds on the 1999 Ford chassis. Several grounds were rewired to eliminate false signals to the ecu regarding shifting.

This is basically a hard start unit which hits the start winding with a big capacitor to "kick" the motor to start. What makes it different, it has a potential relay that removes the start cap when the start winding gets to a certain voltage, assumes motor is running and no longer needs the...
Did you have 120 vac running down the road. It defaults to AC over propane however, if AC is not available and the propane is unstable it will fault out. I added a beeper to the check light.
Most gererators are regulated to maintain a certian voltage. So..they increase the voltage under load. You could have a marginal A/C that won't start on a soft campground plug but does o.k. on the generator. Replace / add hard start caps?
"Recently experienced a mild engine shudder/vibration on cruise control while climbing an overpass. Turned off cruise and it stopped. No shudder/vibration making climb without cruise. Runs normal on level road using cruise. Internet search suggest several things could be the cause. Anyone...
I had the reluctor which is pressed on to the distributor shaft crack and move round. It affected the timing and depending where it would end up would sometimes hit the next spark plug way too soon.

My reading of the TSB wants you to push out the original ground pins than use the new harness and ground them all to the same spot. I suspect you could identify the grounds, cut them than ground then all to the one spot. I have not done mine as of now because I solved my original problem and...
I had a similar problem, trans would shift erratically. Turns out there is a TSB out from Ford which a new ECM harness is installed and consolidates the ground wires. By now they are all gone but it can be done by hand. In my case I added an inverter and the ripple the inverter put back into...
