Albslb 2, what exactly did you have to weld on the Catalina?

Also looking at a 1995 Coachman Catalina series to buy....it is in great shape with low miles and 460 Ford engine......Does anyone own one and what are your experiences with it?  Good...Bad...etc.  Thanks

Just found out that the Chateau with 454 CHevy engine is on a 1 ton chassis...CCC is 2670 lbs without the tow vehicle, vehicle length is 30ft not 31.  Not having all the information without seeing the vehicle again I can't make the calculations that are mentioned above.    Just wondering if...

Some of the class c motorhomes we have looked at have leveling jacks and some do not.  Can anyone tell me what you do if you buy a class c without them?  Are they really necessary?  One person told us that they just used boards.  Did not sound safe to me..  Thanks for your replies and input to...
