As far as the dish goes...I have an older kingdom and LOVE it.  It works flawless.  I am always amazed at how well it pulls a signal through the trees. Works with any style receiver IIRC.

This is not good! I have an older stationary king dome that I love. It picks up the satellite through trees and all kinds of stuff...it never ceases to amaze me on how it gets a signal. I was thinking of upgrading it to a new king dome 3000 in motion one...but king dome gets poor reviews on this...

These things should go to 10 000hours easy. The motors are running at a constant rpm and most often in a very clean environment. Short of checking belts etc...don't worry about it. You could do an oil scan on it do confirm.

Look at my thread...PLEASE HELP, STRANDED. Turned out to be a loose connection right in the Allison control box. See if you have power at both fuses...that is what we eventually found. There was a bad connection at one.

Thanks to Gary's reply who said he had a loose connection...I decided to open up that box and try again...got real lucky. Hit the right fuse the right way when someone was sitting in the drivers seat to see the control panel light up. Got lucky for sure. Lets face it...to find a loose...

FIXED!!!!!!! Went back into the Allison control box for a second time and pushed on one of the fuses and got power. Must be a poor connection there...at least I know to fix it. Cost me $0. Thanks for the replies.
