    Ham Radio Wanta-be!

We have just within the last three week bought a new TT and plan to travel a bit this year and I would like to involve ham radio in my travels.  My question is: I have had a life time interest in amateur radio and between kids, military, and job have not had the time to get involved. I am now...

    Forest River TT

Thanks to all of you for the great feedback. We picked our unit up Friday and feel great about the purchase. The dealer spent two hours going over the orientation with us then another hour answering my printed questions. They demonstrated ever appliance, programed both TV's, the radio/DVD/Cd...

    Forest River TT

Wow, we are to pick up our new surveyor 35 footer this coming Friday. I have done some research and just about every site I go to says to run like heck from this brand. Most of the complaints seem to be 2006 to 2009, with a few in 2011 and 1 in Jan. of this year, mostly warranty issues. I am now...

"Ain't no need to replace 10yr old tires"

I guess in the end I would follow whatever the tire manf. told me to do based on there wear and use data. I havent pulled a trailer or RV yet, (next week we pick up our first RV) but the thought of taking out my whell well and underside make tire cost a set of tires a no brainer.

    New Surveyor SV-305

We bought my first ever trailer today, leaving tonight. No just kidding about leaving, but I do need some information. I read here on the forum that you must be carefull about units the length of the one we just purchased 35+ feet as some area parks or sites cannot support the legth. I have...

"Ain't no need to replace 10yr old tires"

I had the same problem. My wife?s car is seldom driven. It is a 2005 Chevy with less than 14000 miles on it. I had a continuous problem with the loss of tire pressure. When I took it to the local tire folks at NTW, I was told that DOT specifications and tire manufacturers recommend that tires be...
