    Restoring a slide in camper

The interior is ash compaired to birch the was normally used. This will look really good when re-varished.  I try and make things as original as possible. Which is what my idea of restoring is all about. Bringing things back to as original as you can.  Other than the water damage, which I think...

    Restoring a slide in camper

I posted in the slide camper forum by mistake.  I just was given a 1961 GMC truck and camper by a friend who's grandfather bought it new.  I've just finished restoring a 1958 14ft runabout boat and am about to finish a 1970 Volkswagen Squareback for my daughters fist car. He has followed the...

    Old restored campers

Has anyone restored an old camper, or, know of old camper restore groups?  A friend gave me a 1961 GMC truck with a 1961 camper. I'm planning on restoring it. It seems like it would be a really fun project.  Looking on the web there isn't too much out there as far as info goes.

    3500 W Champion generator...Noise

I have one of those cheap gens and it works fine. 18 hours of run time on a tank of gas.  However, they are really too noisy for campground use and have to have some sort of acoustic enclosure to make them work OK.  Mine (which is a china copy of a Honda) is 95dB at 3 feet open. Clearly way too...
