    cpap

My Resmed CPAP has an input voltage of 24v.  That being said, I went to a medical supply company that sells CPAPs and accessories. They stocked and I purchased a 12v to 24v inverter for my unit which is much more efficient than inverting from 12 to 120v and then back down to 24v.  I ran a cig...

    Farm Sitter Needed ASAP

A couple of questions for you!  What are the average daytime and nighttime temperatures there that time of year and is 50 amp electrical available?  (never been to that part of Tennessee but that's the great part of this new full-time lifestyle, we can go where we want, when we want)

    Pledge on painted fiberglass

A side note and kind of off the subject, but another great use for lemon pledge is to reduce the visibility of fine scratches in eyeglasses.  Remember the commercials for a scratch remover?  The optician I use told me pledge works better than that stuff, so I tried it and it works great.

    Drone insurance and liability

As mentioned by a couple of guys already, "AMA insurance should cover liability".  However, in order for them to pay a claim, you will have prove you were flying according to their guidelines which in part states that you cannot fly over dwellings or people.  It's not rocket science to figure...

If nothing else, it usually turns out pretty bad for the deer! LOL

If you could provide a picture, it would be very helpful!

    Power on all the time?

There is another possibility.  You could have a CO2 detector that is powered by replaceable batteries as in 9v or even AA's.  That is the type I have.

    Gravel leveling pad for RV

When you say gravel, it could mean a few different products.  Is this what would be considered clean rock or gravel, meaning mostly just rocks with very little to no "fines, or more of a "baserock", meaning gravel with "fines"?  What would generally be used for an RV pad would be the latter. ...

WOW! It's actually getting very near!

My wife has been retired now for over a year.  The house is on the market and I have announced my upcoming retirement.  (the actual date still forthcoming, but sometime this summer or (most likely)before).  We are starting to load some of the few belongings we will take with us in the 5th...

    Questions re: 2003 F350 4x4 c/w 6L diesel

One other item to maybe consider when looking at these trucks is that 2004 and earlier F350s had front leaf springs, whereas 2005 and later had front coil springs.  The front coil springs will allow a tighter turning radius.  By how much I am not really sure, but with my 06 being a crew-cab...

Fixing oil pump on 1991 Holiday Rambler Monitor 31

I agree with Russ+Chris.  There are really two likely scenarios.  1) As Russ+Chris said it could possibly be an oil pressure sender giving an inaccurate reading. 2) Worn main/rod/cam bearings, all of which will cause less oil flow restriction which in turn decreases oil pressure.  Is it...

    Questions re: 2003 F350 4x4 c/w 6L diesel

I drive an '06 F-350 with the 6.0 engine clocked now at 170k miles.  When I bought it, the head studs, egr delete and most the major upgrades had already been done.  There are some items that if not done they can bite you.  However, if you spend the money (yes it can cost 5k or so, but if you...

    Trailer Weight Limit

Also keep in mind that you can add heavier axles, 300 ply tires (if they existed), beef up the frame and tongue to a point you could haul a 747, but without having an engineer sign off on it and the DOT re-certifying your trailer for the heavier weights, you are still limited by the current...

    Confused about propane regulator(s)

Today I removed the regulator from the line and in its place put a step down bushing/coupler.  Reinstalled the hose and after discovering a slight leak at the new connection with soapy water and fixing that, I tested it.  Hoorah!!!! the secondary tank and automatic crossover regulator seem to...

    Confused about propane regulator(s)

Thanks for the responses.  After posting this and doing a bit more research, I kinda came to the same conclusion.  You just helped reaffirm that the second small regulator is pretty much moot and could actually cause the issue I'm having.
