Landing a Remote Job - Lessons Learned

I recently went through the long and arduous process of searching for (and landing) a remote job. I'm not a recruiting expert, but this is what I learned from the experience: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qlZ8a_Yq4uU

An alternative to boondocking and rv parks...

I came across this website the other day. It's a really cool idea. Landowners can rent out their land to RVers. It's a lot like airbnb, but for us! RVwithMe.com I dig it cuz it gives us so many more place to camp in places we never had access to before. Instead of land being bought up and...

    Apps that help with Boondocking

Not quite boondocking, but RVwithME.com is a pretty cool site. Hoping it grows quickly so we get a lot of places we can stay.

Thanks for the tips Judy. What cover are you using? We have a nice Kuat hitch that locks up, but I haven't found a cover that I love yet. I like the idea of storing the bikes outside provided they are out of the weather and secure. Our bikes cost more than our toad will, so we want to make sure...

hm... good to know. I guess I could see that. That's definitely something I'll consider. I would LOVE a prevost conversion, but I don't think that's in the cards right now.

Noobies here looking to switch to fulltime soon

Hello. We just sold our house and we're gearing up to move into an RV full time. We were thinking about a tiny house, but then we reflected on how much we love to explore and backpack in new areas, and an RV made more sense. We are in our early 30s, and we plan on working online while out and...

Great points Lou. We're 5'6", but even then, with insulation and cabinetry up there, I imagine it'd get tight. Definitely something to consider. I think our next step is to check out some skoolie conversions locally to see what it's actually like to be inside one.

Thanks for the good advice Kim, this is just the sort of thing we're looking for. Apart from the 4 days we rented a class C, we don't have experience driving an RV, so that's helpful to know. There are some stretches here in Utah where the speed limit is 80 mph. It's not so much a matter of me...

We wanted to make sure we researched the idea of full time RVing before we threw ourselves in. We've learned a lot from gone with the wynns and technomadia, among others, but we figured the best way to learn if it was for us was to rent an RV for a weekend. Here is what followed: Noobie RV...

Hello everyone. We are a couple in our early 30s looking to make the switch to full-timers.  We just sold our big house and we've been adopting a pretty minimalist lifestyle lately.  Naturally, living in an RV full time seemed like the perfect fit.  We are avid backpackers and mountain bikers...
