Thank you very much. That is exactly what I needed to know. I knew there was a pin to pin wt. that had to be subtracted to give me an approximate wt. on the axles. I just had no idea where to start. I will also look into shock absorbers. And again, Thank You very much.
I need to replace the leaf springs on my 23 yr. old 5th wheel. The gross wt. is 12000 lbs. I need to know how to calculate the spring wt. without shaking the old girl to death, and yet get good suspension support. Help!!!
