You might consider using 2'' aluminum angle and miter the joints where the plane changes. I bedded the angle on my rebuild with a polymer caulk. That was over 4 years ago and it is still holding up well even the caulk that is exposed to the Florida sun.

I think the inter locking deck material would make an incredible floor! I had right around $550.00 in the 1 x 2 channel, screws and some extra 1 1/2 square tubing added to the existing floor framing.

I have seen a swing jack back when I had a truck camper with the same issue. Sorry I don't remember the brand. I do remember, what I thought was way over priced. I made my own with heavy duty butt hinges. I only needed two to get the front jacks past the fender.

We always allow a little more time than we think were going to need to get some where, set up etc. Not feeling rushed or not doing cardiac trips makes the trip a lot more enjoyable for us.
