    Newbies with Coachmen Clipper 17FQ

LOL Yea, we have discovered how the "little things" seem to be adding up... Still excited about getting out and camping. We have the "dress rehearsal" camp at the campsites about 2 miles from the house scheduled for this weekend.

I appreciate the tip, seems like a good idea. I looked into the power manager you suggested, and...  is there a less expensive model out there?

Let's see pictures of your 4x4!

Looked over this entire 9 page thread. Some very very nice rides on here! (loved the convertible Jeepster!)  But it is really shy on Ford products.. To that end I present my off roader and my tow rig. This was just a short day trip my wife and I took to a local lake.

Question about the mat you put down in front of your camper door?

Haven't been on my first trip yet, (yea, newbiex2) but when my wife looked at mats (her parents were avid RVers so she has some experience) and mentioned holding it down the first place my mind went to were the long head bolts I had after installing new heads in my Tbird. Long, heavy steel...

That is a good idea. Though we'll probably just head to the local RV campsite across town, about 2-3 miles from home (we live in a very small town). Its not much but its clean and nice. My in-laws set up there when they come visit and they thought it was great.  We'll just set up, spend the...

Thank you! I am aware of the ratio of good dealers to bad dealers (in most fields, be it RV, auto, truck, or even appliances!) and that is the reason I choose to sound off when I find a good one. I see that you're from Ocala. Nice place! My parents moved there about 5 years ago. They seem to be...

    Newbies with Coachmen Clipper 17FQ

Just signed on to the forums. My wife and I are new to RVing. Her parents seemed to really enjoy their motorhome so we decided to start our retirement early and get involved.  To that end we just took delivery of our 2014 Clipper 17FQ.  We bought it from a dealer near St. Louis "Bill Thomas...
