    Another newbie without wheels

Thanks, and we (the wife and I) have been having fun testing out a few machines locally.  Luckily we have had a few breaks in the winter cold.  So far we've look at a Dynamax Rev 24RB, A Winnebago ERA (gas mercedes if you believe it, with a M272 engine), and the Travato.  All fairly small, but...

winnebago a/c with heat pump shuts down generator

During a recent test of the generator, starts fine, runs for some time.  Then after turning on the A/C unit/heat pump the generator shuts down immediately.  I'm guessing this problem is with the A/C unit shorting the A/C voltage thus shutting down the generator.  Any others out there experience...

    2013 Winnebago ERA 170x -- one of a kind ?

The vehicle sticker on the drivers door indicates that incomplete vehicle manufactured by Mercedes benz llc 08/2012, then also it indicates with VIN, Manufactured by Winnebago IND. INC  11/2012, so 4 months later.  Carfax shows import date into U.S. as 10/2012 (chassis as you say), indicating it...

    2013 Winnebago ERA 170x -- one of a kind ?

Good thought, according to Carfax, it was in limbo for over 2 years 10/2012-06/2015 before the first title was issued after import to U.S.  Could have sat on dealers lot that long I supposed or been a rental during that time ?

    2013 Winnebago ERA 170x -- one of a kind ?

Hi, I just got back from taking a look at a 2013 Winnebago era 170x (aka 70x).  When comparing the vehicle to the online brochure, I find some very odd differences. 1.  This sprinter chassis is powered by a M272 gas engine, .vs. the standard diesel.  Anyone else have a gas powered ERA mercedes...

    Another newbie without wheels

Hello, I have been lurking on all the RV boards/web sites for a year and following the YouTube adventures of many couples on the net.  Actively shopping locally for a (used) small class C or larger type B RV.  Much harder than finding a car as the options are limitless and the "horror" stories...
