    Is it my converter?

Thanks Grashley!  That is pretty much what I was seeing.  Even when the converter was saying it was in boost mode, it didn't show at the battery.  Though the battery did very slowly charge over a few days.  Still hoping it wasn't the charge wizard I had just gotten for it.  I do have a new...

    Is it my converter?

Thanks, wanted some conformation before I kept throwing more money at it.  Guess it's worth a try.

    Is it my converter?

You all have been so helpful in the past, now I'm hoping you can give me an idea for our daughter's travel trailer.  She has an older 2004 prowler that she lives in when she's doing seasonal work.  She's only had it a couple of years.  The first summer she lived in it at Yellowstone she had...

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

Haha, yes but I'm afraid it's going to cost for both birds! Yeah, before we knew it was going to take so long I think I found the last camping spot in Alberta for the weekend!  (Lost the cost of that too since didn't know till Friday that wouldn't be making it.)

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

As usual you all are correct!  Now I'm feeling pretty dumb saying this but I kind of always assumed or didn't really think about it,( just thought that was the way it is) that it didn't have power steering.  Since we got it 6 YEARS ago it was our first motorhome and well, it's big and hard to...

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

I was able to get the motorhome into a cummins sales and service shop, they were able to determine the radiator is fine but the fan is not coming on.  They hooked it to a computer that tricked it into thinking it was over heating and it said that up front the motorhome thought the fan had kicked...

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

Thanks, I know when they flushed it a month ago they did say there was a 90 degree temperature drop but not sure exactly from where to where.  I'll be sure to be more through at the next place.  At least I have a better idea what to ask! Thanks!

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

Ah ha, thanks Lou, that explains it!  Guess I'll look for a radiator place, just surprised previous cleanings didn't make a difference but I guess if there is some inner tubes blocked... Thanks all! Anybody know a good place on the east side of Glacier National Park?

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

If it is the radiator would that cause the difference when it rains?  I mean it is QUITE a difference!

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

I had tried pressure washing myself (side radiator) from the outside and went underneath to get the inside as best as I could.  That didn't help, at the truck shop they did take the radiator apart, don't know about dipping. By hot- my normal running temperature is 180, I stop and let it cool...

Overheating problems but not in the rain, diagnostic of anything?

My motorhome has started running hot when it really shouldn't be.  Started first on long hills which I wasn't too concerned about but it has gradually gotten worse that now it doesn't need to be much of a hill and harder to get it to cool down.  Had the radiator flushed about 2 years ago, maybe...

Thanks Gary, that is what my husband is really looking forward too, lots of wildlife sightings! Good to know about the Provincial Parks, will be looking into that.  Also sure don't mind boondocking so maybe we'll have to be doing some of that too. Thanks Jackiemac, sounds like 2 would be the...

Banff and Jasper National Park first timers

We will be heading up into Canada, Banff and Jasper National Parks, for our first time this July.  We will be in Glacier end of June beginning of July so first question is best route, will be on the west side so should we go 93 or go around to the east side and head up 2 or 22?  Right now we...
