Have you thought about exploring different routes by using an RV trip planner? I wanted a pre-planned route on my first trip, too, and I found the trip planner to be helpful. Does anyone travel Indiana US-41?
I was hoping someone with more current info would have responded, but I can't let a post by a fellow Rockford fan go unanswered. We've made the drive between Virginia and northern Illinois 3 or 4 times a year for years and have traveled US 41 at least a couple of times (from Terre Haute north)...- VirginiaDeans
