    Axle Ratio

Assuming your are thinking you'll go with the D/A Diesel.  Would think 3.73 would be OK with the diesel if weight of trailer is in the 12,000# GVWR range. If you're thinking Vortec Gasser, definately go for 4.10 or more.

    Recliners

Might want to find the floor plan you like and consider buying your recliners from Lazy-boy or FlexSteel.  These brands can have removable back portions that will make it possible to get then thru the door.  One thing to consider is how much of your floor space they take up when laid back.  Wall...

    Thor Jazz 2510 TT-Help

Don't ever believe what you read on Yahoo message boards.  Generally posted by disgruntled employees.  Or former employees. Keystone is under the Thor umbrella.  As is other high end brands.  Keystone has several brands which range from budget, to moderate, to high end.

Lubricating trailer legs & packing bearings

I think general rule of thumb is to repack wheel bearings 1 time annually.  Don't know about lubricating the landing gear.  Or even if this is advised.  You would think that lubricating everything that slides would be a good thing.  But grease/oil has a way to attract and hold dirt and dust.  So...

Truck basics and recommendation for towing?

I could not agree more.  The new diesels are amazing.  And optimum for towing, for sure.  However KEVFRA specified he was looking for a 2000 to 2006 deisel.  Newer diesels are a huge improvement.  And the six spped Auto's make them that much better, too. Just trying to address some issues he...

Truck basics and recommendation for towing?

Big Truck Definately.  Deisel Maybe not... your preference.  Higher Cost, Higher Gas Mileage, Higher Resale,  Higher cost of fuel. Noise, Stink.  May not need a dually.  But that depends on your RV spec's. Gasser...Opposite of above.  But get a big displacement V8 or V10 gasser, with at least...
