My KZ has two brackets in the front that are designed to keep the unit from tipping. The installation manual says these brackets should be used ror all installations
One vote for 4x2. I tow a fifth wheel (14,000lbs) with a 4x2 F250. I like having the extra capacity and have not needed 4x4. I have owned 4x4 in the past and never used it.
We have a KZStoneridge 38' rear kitchen. So far the only problem we have had after an 8000 mile cross country trip occurred when we hit an extremely hard bump in a construction zone. Three Corningware dishes that were nestled were broken. We actually expected it would be worse. DW loves the...
We will be traveling the Oregon/N. Ca coast on 101 and plan to cut over to I5 somewhere around Eureka. I would appreciate suggestions on the best route. Our unit is a F250 & 36ft 5er.
Thanks

We will be taking the same trip starting June 1. Our final destination is Bellingham, WA Our plan is to take I-10 across Texas traveling about 200 miles +or- a day.. First stop is LaGrange. Second stop is Kerrville. Third stop is Ft. Stockton. After that you should be good to about Deming and...
We use Sygic and have not had a problem when we are out of cell service.. Maps are resident in the phone and do not take up much room. I only download the ones I need. Just dont forget to download new ones as you move around the country
I dont have a suggestion an a compground, but do on the idea of boondocking. Our first trip was to a state park in Huntsville. We used the site, but did not hookup the first night. That way we were able experience living off the grid with a safety net. Have fun on your trip
