    1997 Bounder Model?

It looks a lot like my 1998 Storm. I paid a lot more than that for mine and have put another $3000 in it over the last year. Sounds like a good deal but be sure to check for leaks really good. If the roofs never been worked on, it's really past its useful life. Good luck with it.

    Frustrated with leaks!!!

I took it back to the shop yesterday and we pressure tested it together. we found that it was a couple of rivets along the gutter and a window seal. So it wasn't covered by the warranty but at least I found the leak. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions. We are supposed to have heavy rains...

    Frustrated with leaks!!!

I had a leak just after I purchased my MH but was able to find it after a lot of searching and got it fixed. I then had the roof re-coated by a RV dealer as the membrane was looking bad. Now after a hard rain, the leak is back!!! I went back up to the place I had found the previous leak and all...

    Help, Strange problem?

This week we pulled into the campgrounds and hooked up to water and electric as usual and had a great 5 day trip. But when we got ready to leave and I unhooked everything, I turned on the water pump to switch back to the water tank I noticed that water was being pumped from the tank out of the...

Why did you decided to buy NEW instead of pre-owned?

I do stand corrected. Your quote is correct, they did ask us to sleep on the fold out couch instead of the main bed and use our own bedding. They didn't ask us to use a sleeping bag though.

Why did you decided to buy NEW instead of pre-owned?

Yes, you treat it as your own for the delivery time which could be a week or more. They want you to try everything and make sure it works. Something to think about, Huh!

Why did you decided to buy NEW instead of pre-owned?

Before I make my statement, I will tell you that for 2 years I traveled delivering new RV's for several companies across the US. They pay for the gas and you get to use the RV while traveling as long as you deliver it by a specified date. Works fairly well. That being said, I would NEVER own a...

    Tow bar help

I have the same base plate and it's from roadmaster. You should have two adapters with it to hook up to standard tow bars. Not sure where you are but I have a nice roadmaster falcon 2 tow bar for sale and I would include the adapters you need for $275.00.

    FLorida Keys Questions

The keys are a big spread out place and each area has it's special places. If you travel up to Key Large, we love the tiki bars there for night life.

    AC question?

My MH has two roof air units that feed into the same ductwork system. Should I run both units at the same time? Do we have two units in case one of them goes out or just to provide extra cooling?

    Fresh water mystery?

I have tried that and got a little water out and then it quit. Probably drained the lines. It's hard for me to trace by sound as I'm deaf. Maybe I can get a hearing person to help me.

    Fresh water mystery?

No, the line you refer to is the drain line with the valve in it and yes it is closed. I am referring to the large white hose with the green stripes at the bottom of the tank. The same size white and green line at the top of the tank is the is the manual fill line.  My MH does not have a "fast...

    Fresh water mystery?

I just finished sanitizing my fresh water tank on the way to the campground last week and then I drained it when I arrived. I hooked up to park water during my stay so I didn't fill the fresh water tank while I was there. When I arrived home, I hooked up the hose to put water in the tank thru...
