It's pretty high on our list so far of states we might settle in - but we have a lot of traveling still to do and who knows, we might not even end up settling in the US after we're done - we'll see :)

After driving our F550 6.0 PSD for a year now, it's interesting how similar it is in some ways to the previous two VW TDI Jetta diesels (A4's) I've had.  They both have terrible reputations, and both are beloved by people with some mechanical sense who actually know how to take care of them. ...

Thanks both :)  This is one of those images where I was shocked to see the lcd after the exposure - where the camera reveals things you can't even come close to seeing with the naked eye.

It can be done but it's currently VERY unusual as somewhat covered above. Inefficient standard AC units plus usually limited battery capacity plus usually limited inverter surge and continuous capabilities. I would actually be more interested in an inverter upgrade that would allow my large...
