    Using a tow dolly?

When using a tow dolly, are there any special considerations to the toad? Do only the drive wheels go into the dolly? We are just getting ready (2 days from now) to trade from a 34" gasser to a 40' DP. I have had a motorcycle lift on the back of the current MH for about 7 years. Not sure if it...

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Thanks Alfa, Thanks for your input. I have the ice maker out of the unit for the time being (more room in the freezer for things like....ICE LOL). The water line has been shut off for 5 days now and the wood has pretty much dried out completely on the Florida heat. I'm afraid you are right...

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Well, got my MH back and the batteries are holding fine at 13.2 each. However, still have the leak. I paid to have it fixed but it still leaks. They could not find the leak in the ice machine line. Their fix was to to cut off the "p" trap of the frost free drip tube, snip a piece of the cover...

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Partial update. The service department called me and let me know they think they have the battery situation fixed. Once he told me, I felt like an idiot. There is a reset fuse on the back of this panel that is behind the inverter. I remembered having to reset it once before when I first bought...

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Okay. Something "new". Please forgive me if the answers above pertain to this new situation. I am new to all of this.  :D I am getting ready to take to MH in for the brake recall tonight. Before unhooking the shore power I did one last check to insure the batteries were staying charged with the...

Gotcha. So far so good on the batteries holding up after shutting the inverter off. I will keep you all posted. Thanks again for all of your help!

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Yeah, I think the installer did something wrong. Probably just plugged it back into the same outlet used for the original which was AC/DC and LP. Would that be the problem?

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Once again thank you so much for taking the time. I apologize for not understanding. It also seems I have the wattage wrong on the inverter. It appears to be a 600 watt which I discovered checking the name and model. Here is the Inverter (cream color) and converter (silver color in...

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Thank you everyone. To refresh, my batteries are dying in less than 12 hours while plugged into shore power. I am assuming that something was not wired right or re-wired when the new fridge was installed. The drain plug obviously wasn't connected. Don't want to throw any dirt about the...

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

I have a 1000 watt inverter that came stock with the RV. I was informed that you only needed the inverter to run the fridge on battery power when not using the generator or shore power. Was I mis-informed? Thanks! Rob

Repalced refirgerator with home unit, couple of questions....

Hi all. I recently had my fridge replaced with a home unit. I had a local dealer do the install. Since the install my house batteries died. I trickle charged them (2 six volt deep cell), they died again. I replaced them before leaving for vacation. They were drained when I got back. The only...

    W22 Chassis - Complete Brake Failure - Recall 50901-C

I just returned from taking my MH to a Workhorse service center. They informed me that WH has approved they install non WH parts for now to meet the demand and then replace with the WH "fix" parts when the fix (money) is in.

    Good Sam ERS

I've used them once on I-4 near Daytona. Ran out of gas on a motorcycle. They said an hour but the local guy made it out in about 40 minutes. Also, can you have GS-ERS if you are not a GS member? I let my membership expire but want to keep the ERS.

    W-20/W-22 Workhorse Chassis Brake Problems?

Hello all. I found this forum by doing a Google search on Workhorse Brake Recall. Yesterday evening I was heading out to the beach for the weekend with my wife. Brake calipers on the front seized up pretty good. I was able to limp it home. I did have this problem last year with the rear brakes...
