Disconnect it and see what stops working. 
That is probably a main fuse off your house battery to your house loads or maybe an inverter. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have a spare. This isn't something that you would ever expect to blow except in cases of a hard fault/failure but if you're having that bad a day already, at least having a fuse to put back in after you fixed what went south is worth something.

Thanks, I will get one. Very inexpensive insurance. I also need to get a 30 and 50 short stop circuit breaker.

Judging from the amp rating and size of the wiring, I'd guess it is the main battery fuse. You should be able to pick up a spare for $5-$15 at many stores. Try an auto parts store, e.g. O'Reilly's or Autozone. It doesn't need to be the AMG brand.
