Getting ready for a trip. I need access to the rear of the TV and so far haven't figured out how it's supposed to come free from the mounting. (I want to get to the HDMI port).

Looking for advice before I break something.

I had the same problem. I’ve sold the 5’er, but the TV Mount had a locking mechanism. I’m thinking there was a bar near the bottom that pulled out which allowed the TV to be lifted off the mount. Sorry I can’t be of more help!

I'm not sure that your TV isn't different from mine as to the mounting. I have a different new model Grand Design TT. My TV is on a telescoping mount. There is a short roller on the back of the TV that snaps into a clip. You have to pull the TV pretty hard (scary to me) to get the TV to pull out and get access to the back... and push hard to get it to snap back into the clip to stow the TV for travel.
